Protesting Appropriately teaches students how to balance respect and assertiveness. This Behavior Blueprint emphasizes the importance of complying first, calming down before speaking, and using respectful language when voicing concerns with teachers.  Students will learn eight strategies that they can use immediately in order to ensure they engage in effective communication that benefits both current and future interactions with their teachers.​
